Baldwin, Jefferson Hills and Whitehall council primary race results

Races in Pleasant Hills and Baldwin Township were uncontested in the primary election, as were the Baldwin-Whitehall School Board and West Jefferson Hills School Board races.

Baldwin Borough council

In Baldwin Borough, five Democrats ran for four spots on the November ballot.

Allegheny County Office of Elections unofficial results show incumbent Marianne Conley received 1,611 votes, Erin Brown received 1,536, Raymond Dee received 1,271 and incumbent E. John Egger received 1,265.

Michael Stelmasczyk’s 1,215 votes were not enough to put him on the ballot for the general election.

Republican Rebecca Conley ran unopposed in the primary.

Jefferson Hills council

Five Democrats and six Republicans ran in the primary for four ballot spots in each party.

The top four Democrats were Claire Metzinger Germello with 762 votes, incumbent Vickie Ielase with 657, Brian Militzer with 636 and Peter Doel with 613.

John Wallace received 609 votes.

The Democratic candidates will face off against the top four Republican vote-getters, incumbent Melissa Girman-Steffey with 835 votes, Keith Polick with 791, incumbent David Montgomery with 734 and Hilary Kingsley-Budd with 682.

Lori Sekulick Bartrug and Christina Weir Ripley had 470 and 412 votes, respectively.

Whitehall council

Five Republicans squared off for four spots on the November ballot in Whitehall.

Those who will be in the general election race are incumbent Linda Book with 690 votes, incumbent William Veith with 646, John Paravati with 450 and Stone Sobieralski with 391.
