Baldwin High School Musical

Baldwin High School will perform the musical “Once Upon a Mattress” April 29-30 and May 1 at 7 p.m. Box office hours are Tuesdays 4-6 p.m. and Saturdays 9-11 a.m. Tickets are $12.

Jefferson Hills paving approved

Jefferson Hills officials recently awarded this year’s paving contract to Mele & Mele & Sons of Braddock. Council budgeted $575,000 for street repairs. The bid came in at about $530,000. Streets to be paved include Check Drive, Quincy Drive East, Quincy Drive West, Stettler Drive, Taber Drive, Redcliffe Drive, Sontino Lane, Royal Court, and Regency Drive. Borough manager John Stinner said the streets were identified and prioritized through input from the public works department and RoadBotics.

Memorial Brick Program

The Pleasant Hills Garden Club will offer an opportunity to honor someone with an engraved brick in their name at the Let Freedom Ring Garden, located at the Bill Green Shopping Center.

The LFRG was installed in 2007 by the Pleasant Hills Garden Club with community support. A brick court was installed in front of the Memorial to honor those who are serving, or have served, our country. A brick court in the center honors those who have lived or served in our community, and helped to beautify our community.

For a donation of $55, you will have a 4”x 8” brick engraved and placed in a designated area of the garden.

Pup Parade

The Baldwin Health Center, 1717 Skyline Drive, will hold a pup parade event May 8 from 1 p.m.-3 p.m. Vaccinations records for all pets must be present. Covid-19 safety protocols will be followed. Check-in and receive complimentary pup prizes. Donations of dog toys and cat/dog food are appreciated. All proceeds will be given to Animal Friends.
