Allegheny County Police said a Baldwin man was responsible for a Thursday night shooting in Stowe that left another man hospitalized.

Sedrick Riddick, 22, was charged with two counts of aggravated assault and taken to the Allegheny County Jail in Pittsburgh on Friday.

Charges stem from a shooting around 7:30 p.m. Thursday along the 700 block of Broadway Avenue.

Police said there was a fight inside Aces Tavern that spilled outside onto the street.

A 28-year-old man was shot in the chest and legs, and taken to a hospital.

Police said it appeared Riddick and the other man shot at each other.

Riddick was detained by township officers that evening after he was seen holding a gun.

A warrant was later obtained and Allegheny County Police announced the arrest Friday.

Police said the unidentified victim was in serious but stable condition.

Riddick’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for Jan. 25 before District Judge Bruce J. Boni, according to online court documents.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the County Police Tip Line 1-833-ALL-TIPS. Callers can remain anonymous.
