Some South Hills races uncontested in primary

Two primary races in the South Hills are uncontested.

According to the Allegheny County Office of Elections unofficial candidate list, in Baldwin Township, Republicans Tyrus Scott Fluharty and Nick Pellegrino are running for three open commissioner seats. There are no Democrats on the ballot.

In the Pleasant Hills council race, three Republicans are running for three open seats: Richard Raszewski, Gregory P. Smith and Andrew Codelka. Joseph M. Esper and Nicole Leckenby are the only two Democrats on the ballot.
