Editor’s note: South Hills Record is featuring candidate interviews in contested municipal and school board races only. Only candidates on the ballot will be interviewed (no write-ins).

In the South Hills, the Baldwin school board race is uncontested. According to the Allegheny County Office of Elections unofficial candidate list, there are five candidates seeking five four-year terms.

John Bell, Anthony J. DiCesaro, Peter D. Giglione, Dan Knezevich and Janis Tarson are all cross-filed on the ballot.

The Baldwin Township commissioners race is also uncontested. Two Republicans are on the ballot — Tyrus Scott Fluharty and Nick Pellegrino.

Three seats are open for four-year terms.
