South Hills student accolades for the month of July 2023

Tyler Fabian earned a Juris Doctor from Widener University Delaware Law School on May 19.

Gagan Phuyal has been named to the spring 2023 dean’s list at Berea College.

Megan Rozanski was named to the dean’s list at Wilkes University for the spring 2023 semester.

Mark Boyd was named to the Western Carolina University spring 2023 dean’s list.

Eliana Morano and Will Morano were named to the dean’s list at Lehigh University for the spring 2023 semester.

John Andrew Beck earned a bachelor of science in business administration from University of Maryland Global Campus.

Michael Aches was among the 69 Thiel College student-athletes named to The Presidents’ Athletic Conference Spring 2023 Academic Honor Roll. The PAC Academic Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes on varsity sports teams who have earned a GPA of 3.6 or higher on a 4.0 scale during their semester of competition. Aches is a senior studying mathematics and a member of the baseball and the PAC’s Sportsmanship teams. He is a graduate of Bishop Canevin High School.

Lauren Vuono graduated from Miami University with a bachelor of science degree in speech pathology and audiology.

Aysha Dursunova was named to the dean’s list at Rochester Institute of Technology for the spring 2023 semester. Dursunova is in the biotechnology and molecular bioscience program.

Rebecca Dirling, Kelsey Dowd, Stephen F. Gentile, Jared Koenig and Erin Urbanic graduated from Youngstown State University. Gavin Hackel made the provost’s list for the spring 2023 semester.

Jasmine Sutton has been named to the dean’s list at Frostburg State University for the spring 2023 semester.

Matthew Mackowski and Mariah Schrum graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology in May.

Ava Piper earned dean’s list honors at The University of Tampa for the spring 2023 semester. Piper is a freshman majoring in allied health.

Nicholas Czerwein, Brendan Donnelly, Nathan Kacey and Brooke McQuillan graduated from Westminster College on May 13. Robert Andrews, Heidi Tatum, Kassidy Alcorn, Justin Fanft, Christine Rossi and Ryan Feth made the dean’s list.

Rachel McCoy graduated from the University of Alabama with a bachelor of science in athletic training. McCoy was named to presidents list for the fall 2022 semester.

Sara Banovic made the president’s list at Saint Francis University for the spring 2023 semester. Una Banovic, Alexa Chapla, Sophia Petrucci and Nathan Zini made the dean’s list.

Lucas Perfetti, a graduate of Baldwin High School, graduated from Baldwin Wallace University with a bachelor of science in pre-allied health/pre-physical therapy.

Madison Benedict, a member of Baldwin High School’s class of 2023, also graduated from CCAC with a supervision and leadership certificate. She was recognized as the first graduate of 31 students at the high school participating in the BNY Mellon Early College High School Program at CCAC.
