Nicholas Altavilla made the dean’s list for the fall 2022 semester at Palmer College of Chiropractic.

Accounting and business administration/personal financial planning major Nabin Pokhrel is among four PennWest Edinboro students who volunteered this spring to prepare and file taxes for low-to-moderate income workers in Erie County, Pa. Pokhrel trained to become an IRS certified tax preparer through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program and worked with United Way Erie FREE Taxes for the 2022-2023 tax season.

Veronica Leonard of Jefferson Hills who matched into Family Medicine at UPMC Presbyterian Shadyside-PA. Leonard is a fourth year student at Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine.

Nicole O’Gorman was recently initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest and most selective all-discipline collegiate honor society. O’Gorman was initiated at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

Claire Hsu made the dean’s list at the University of Kentucky College of Arts & Sciences for the fall 2022 semester.
