A crash involving a Port Authority bus and a vehicle early Thursday evening on Pittsburgh’s South Side caused significant delays for PAT’s light-rail riders and those whose buses are detouring around the Mt. Washington Transit Tunnel.

The crash occurred at Arlington Avenue and Newton Street, not far from the P.J. McCardle Roadway.

A PAT spokesman could not be reached late Thursday night.
