State police are investigating a report of shots fired Saturday at a vehicle traveling on Route 28.

In a release, troopers said they responded to an incident in the northbound lanes near Exit 10 (Gamma Drive) in O’Hara at about 8:52 p.m. Saturday.

According to police, the victim said he noticed the vehicle behind him driving erratically. The vehicle was described as a white hatchback with an Alabama license plate.

The vehicle them pulled up next to the victim and the driver brandished a gun outside of the vehicle, police said. Two unknown black males were seen in the car, according to the report.

Police said the victim then hit their brakes and the other vehicle sped past. The victim then heard several popping sounds and was able to pull over to the side of the road, where he found his vehicle had been hit with gunfire, the report says.

Police said the victim was not shot, but did have minor injuries from flying glass.
