A McKees Rocks man died when the pickup truck he was driving hit a utility and went over a hillside early Friday morning in Robinson Township, according to investigators.

Emergency responders were dispatched to the 4500 block of Steubenville Pike at 2:09 a.m. and transported Cory Rosenwald, 25, of McKees Rocks, to the hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to Allegheny County police.

There were no other people in the vehicle.

Allegheny County homicide detectives and an accident reconstruction team are investigating.

Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call the county police Tip Line 1-833-ALL-TIPS. Callers can remain anonymous.

The wreck sent power lines onto the roadway and forced the shutdown of a section of Steubenville Pike between Lorish and East Windhaven roads.

Power was out briefly in the area following the wreck. A crew from Duquesne Light was dispatched to replace the pole and repair the lines.

The road was reopened to traffic at about 9:30 a.m., according to PennDOT.
