Talk to the Trib: Summer and snowballs at Carnegie Science Center

Summer officially began Wednesday, and the Carnegie Science Center brought back a little snow to the forecast.

Families showed up to celebrate the annual Snowball Day at the Carnegie Science Center. Some had saved their snowballs to launch into the Ohio River with large slingshot devices.

This past winter was light on snow in Western Pennsylvania, so the Science Center made some of their own snowballs for visitors to launch throughout the day.
