Teen shot in Pittsburgh’s Elliott neighborhood

A Pittsburgh teenager was shot in the hand Monday afternoon while leaning out of the window of his Elliott home, city police said.

The 16-year-old boy was shot in the 700 block of Lorenz Avenue around 5:25 p.m., police said.

Police said the boy was conscious and alert and was able to describe what happened to him.
