Car into pole stifles traffic on Washington Boulevard

A crash on Washington Boulevard in Pittsburgh affected traffic on the roadway for part of Monday’s commute.

One person was taken to a hospital from the scene, according to an Allegheny 911 dispatch supervisor.

Tribune-Review news partner WPXI-TV reported that a vehicle crashed into a utility pole in the area of Larimer and Lincoln Avenues in Larimer.

The road was closed for a time.
