2 injured in Sharpsburg crash

Two people were reported in critical condition Tuesday as a result of injuries suffered in a head-on collision in Sharpsburg, the Allegheny County Police said.

A woman in one vehicle and a man in the other sustained the injuries in the crash that was reported at about 3:50 p.m. in the 1600 block of Main Street, police said. The two were transported to a local hospital.

County homicide detectives and collision reconstruction officers were investigating the crash, police said.
