There may be a new millionaire in the Freeport area since a winning scratch-off ticket was sold at a borough gas station.

The lucky ticket, a $50 scratch-off, was sold at the BP gas station on Buffalo Street, according to a Pennsylvania Lottery release. The ticket is the winner of the game’s grand prize: $1 million a year for life. The winner also could choose a one-time cash option of $14.5 million.

The gas station will get $100,000 for making the sale.

Scratch-off prizes expire one year from the game’s end-sale date.
