One person was taken to the hospital following a two-vehicle crash Monday morning in Springdale Borough, according to police.
The crash was reported shortly before 11:30 a.m. near the intersection of Pittsburgh and James streets, police said.
The driver of one of the vehicles was transported to a local hospital by Lower Valley Ambulance for treatment of a head injury, police said.
Information about his condition was not available, but a witness told the Tribune-Review that he was conscious and able to speak to first responders.
Police did not release the name of the injured man nor the other driver involved in the crash.
Firefighters from the borough responded to the scene to secure the wrecked vehicles and clear debris and fluids that leaked onto the roadway.
A Springdale police officer this afternoon said the crash is still being investigated and no decision has been made about whether the drivers will be charged.
