Three men were taken to the hospital after they were shot in Arnold on Wednesday night.

Mayor Shannon Santucci said the incident stemmed from a domestic dispute.

A report of shots fired came in just after 7 p.m. Wednesday in the 2100 block of Leishman Avenue.

Chief Rob Haus said the three men shot were taken to undisclosed hospitals.

The men were shot in an exchange of gunfire with each other, according to Melanie Jones, spokeswoman for the Westmoreland County District Attorney’s Office.

They had non-life-threatening injuries, Jones said.

Jones said it was a contained, isolated incident. County detectives are assisting Arnold police.

Haus said he believed all people involved were being interviewed by detectives as of 8:40 pm.
