9 employers looking to hire at upcoming New Kensington job fair

PA CareerLink Alle-Kiski is located at 1150 Fifth Ave., Suite 200, in New Kensington.

Nine employers which are actively hiring are expected to attend a PA CareerLink job fair in New Kensington next week.

The job fair will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 19 at the CareerLink office at 1150 Fifth Ave.

Employers scheduled to attend include Re:Build Manufacturing, Randstad, All Kids Are Special, FilterBuy, Platinum Ridge, Swank Construction, the state Department of Corrections, ESS and Shady Side Academy.

“This is a great opportunity for people that are looking for a job to come and have a face-to-face conversation with the employers attending the event,” said Anna McClain, outreach coordinator for PA CareerLink.

Registration is suggested but not required by going to the events page on the PA CareerLink website and searching for “Alle-Kiski Job Fair.” Job seekers can stop in the office before the event for help developing resumes and job searching services.

PA CareerLink helps job seekers with finding employment through services such as resume assistance, free workshops, career assistance and training services. It helps employers with job matching, training dollars for new employees and labor market information.
