Apollo

Wednesday and Thursday: 10 a.m., bingo.

Freeport

Monday: 10 a.m., Site Council meeting.

Leechburg

Avonmore Center for Active Adults

Oct. 8: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Volunteer Appreciation Celebration. There will be prize bingo, a lunch buffet and oldies music by Julie Dunmire and Joe D’Aquila. Reservations required by Tuesday.

East Vandergrift Center for Active Adults

Highland Senior Center

Tuesday: 12:30 a.m., Bible study.

New Kensington Senior Center

Tuesdays: 12:30 p.m., bingo. Please arrive by 11:45 a.m. There will be 18 regular games that pay $10 each, five specials that pay $15 each, two jackpot games and one quickie game. Payouts change according to attendance. Public welcome.

Mondays and Fridays: 10:30 a.m., Healthy Steps in Motion.

The center is at 1039 Third Ave., New Kensington. Hours: 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays. Details: 724-335-8597.

Plum Community Center

Monday: 12:30 to 3 p.m., bingo. Cost: $10, includes all games, soft drinks and a snack. Games include 10 regular games that pay $20 each, four specials that pay $25 each and a $150 jackpot game.

Friday: 12:30 p.m., paper crafts and card making workshop. Materials provided.

Oct. 9: 12:15 p.m., Lunch and Learn series. The program will be “The Bible as Literature” with the Rev. Curt Leonard. Reservations required.

Riverview Community Action Corp.

Thursday: 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., members meeting. Reservations required by Wednesday.

Winfield Township Senior Center
