Frank C. Prazenica Jr., of the Freeport Area School Board is the new president of the ARIN 28 Intermediate Unit.
The new vice president is Charles R. Glasser of the Marion Center Area School Board. The unit’s secretary is Danielle L. Patterson and treasurer is Clifford A. Geary, both of whom work for the intermediate unit.
The board also appointed Gary Gushard as its solicitor.
ARIN member school districts also include Apollo-Ridge, Leechburg Area, Lenape Technical School, and eight othersin Armstrong and Indiana counties.
The intermediate unit serves about 19,000 students in 22 elementary schools and 18 middle and high schools plus almost 1,700 teachers.
