At least 1 hurt in 2-car wreck along Freeport Road in New Kensington

New Kensington police are investigating a 2-car crash along Freeport Road at Edgewood Road at about 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2019. One woman and her infant were taken to a hospital. Police said the white rental car hit the rear of the black Ford Taurus.

A two-car crash along Freeport Road in New Kensington sent one woman to an area hospital Tuesday.

City police said her infant accompanied her in the ambulance.

The wreck appears to have happened when a white rental car hit the rear of a black Ford Taurus at about 10:30 a.m., police said.

The crash happened near Freeport Road’s intersection with Egdewood Road.

Police are investigating.
