Bull Creek in Fawn Township swelled and rushed along its banks early Wednesday, but no flooding was reported before 10:45 a.m., officials said.

“We’re watching it, but it’s holding so far,” township Secretary Pamela Ponsart said.

Flooding was reported across the region as remnants of Hurricane Ida moved through.

The National Weather Service posted an alert to Twitter for people who live near small creeks, saying several of them are rising rapidly.

“If you live near Girty’s Run, Pine Creek (Etna), or any small stream … please remain aware of your surroundings and have a plan in the case the streams rise out of their banks,” the post read.

Slight ponding formed along Bull Creek Road but no other issues were reported.
