A Cadogan woman is accused of selling cocaine in Armstrong County.

Shana Lee Warcholak, 30, of First Street, is accused of selling two packages of powdered cocaine this month in the Ford City area.

County detectives say Warcholak contacted a person who is an informant for the county drug task force.

According to an affidavit, at least two controlled buys of cocaine happened. The police report says the informant was under surveillance and turned over the alleged cocaine to police as soon as the sales were complete. The suspected drugs were sent to the State Police lab to be tested and weighed.

Warcholak is accused of drug sales, conspiracy to sell the drug, two counts of possession, and criminal use of a communications facility to arrange the sales.

She was arraigned Thursday and sent to the Armstrong County Jail in lieu of $20,000 pending a preliminary hearing on Tuesday.
