Highlands School District will receive visits from the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile which offers free health services for students.

Highlands students can get immunizations, sports physicals and other exams during a visit from the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile on Sept. 19.

The Care Mobile offers all district students limited medical care with no out-of-pocket costs.

Appointments will be available from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the district community center near Golden Rams Stadium.

The district partnered with UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh and Ronald McDonald House Charities in 2023 to bring the roving 40-foot truck for quarterly visits.

There is no cost to the district.

Pegged as a primary care center on wheels, some of the services offered include lead screenings, referrals, vision screenings, nutrition education and sexual health care.

For more information, call 412-352-1059 or visit chp.edu/our-services/mobile-medical-clinic.
