Several cars crashed on the Tarentum Bridge on Tuesday afternoon. Police said no one was hospitalized.

A multi-vehicle crash on the Tarentum Bridge inbound to Tarentum from New Kensington snarled traffic for a bit Tuesday afternoon.

Allegheny County 911 dispatch said the incident occurred around 5 p.m. on the Tarentum side of the bridge.

It was unclear if anyone sustained minor injuries.

Dispatchers said no one was transported to a hospital.

Tow trucks were seen reversing up the bridge from the light by the Marathon Gas station in Tarentum in order to remove the damaged vehicles.

Traffic began slowly moving around the site around 5:20 p.m. and the scene was cleared around 5:40 p.m.
