Bell
• Breakfast with the Easter Bunny, 8 to 11 a.m. April 16 at the Bell Township Volunteer Department, 201 Main St., Salina. There will be kids’ games, crafts and egg decorating. Cost: $10, ages 13 and older; 3 to 12, $5; and 2 and younger, free.
Brackenridge
• Free Easter celebration, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 16 at Generations House of Worship, 1160 Parkside Drive. There will be photos with the Easter Bunny, a trunk-or-treat for children up to age 11, a scavenger hunt for children 12 to 18, face painting, magic show, bounce houses, silent auction, food trucks and 50-50 raffle. Freeport
• Freeport Area Kiwanis egg hunt for children age 1 to 10 will be at 11 a.m. April 16 at Freeport Community Park. Rain or shine. Children will be divided into age groups. Lunch will be served afterward in the basement of Laube Hall and there will be an opportunity for photos with the Easter Bunny. Donations will be accepted.
Indiana Township
• Allegheny County Parks Department egg hunt, April 16 at Hartwood Amphitheater. There will be sessions at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. for children 4 and younger and 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. for 5 and older. Hunts begin 15 minutes after each time listed. Cost: Allegheny County residents: $5; non-residents, $7. There will be a face painter, balloon artist and crafts. Reservations for children required at alleghenycounty.us/special-events.
• Free community egg hunt, 10 a.m. April 16 at Dorseyville Alliance Church, 3703 Saxonburg Blvd., Dorseyville. The Easter story will be shared and lunch will be served. Bags will be provided for the hunt, but bring a basket if you like. In case of inclement weather, the event will be indoors.
Leechburg
• Egg hunt, 1 p.m. April 16 at First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 358 Main St. for children in prekindergarten through fifth grade. Reservations required. Reservations: 724-845-7518 or servinggodgracefully.net/egghunt.
Lower Burrell
• Free community Easter celebration, 10 to 11:30 a.m. April 16 at the K-9 Officer Derek Kotecki Memorial Park soccer fields, Wildlife Lodge Road. Egg hunt starts at 10:30 a.m. and there will be photos with the Easter Bunny, a temporary tattoo station, face painting and police and fire touch-a-trucks. Rain or shine. In case of heavy rain, photos, candy and eggs will be distributed in a drive-thru.
Plum
• Plum Borough will host a free drive-thru Easter event by appointment for borough children 7 and younger from 9:30 a.m. to noon April 16 at the public works facility, 2001 old Mine Road. Guests will remain in their vehicle and receive a bunny bag. Plum Rotary will collect and match monetary donations for Brothers Brother. Reservations will be accepted at plumboro.com and are limited to the first 700 children. Details: events@plumboro.com.
Springdale
• Egg hunt, 1 p.m. April 16 at the Desmone Field at Springdale Jr.-Sr. High School, Marion Avenue. Sponsored by Cheswick-Springdale Lions Club.
Tarentum
• Free egg hunt, 9 a.m. April 16 in Riverview Memorial Park, First Avenue, for children 12 and younger. Masks optional. The park will be divided into areas for each age group. Arrive early and look for your child’s age group. Sponsored by New Kensington Women of the Moose and Tarentum Recreation Board and supported by local businesses. Details: Linda, 412-585-4441.
