An Etna man was arrested Thursday in connection with a Fox Chapel burglary last week, but police are continuing to search for an Arnold man who they believe was an accomplice.

Allegheny County Police said among the items stolen was a gold bar, jewelry worth thousands of dollars, three Rolex watches, an engraved wedding band and family heirlooms.

Robert Gizler, 27, was arrested Thursday by county detectives and Sharpsburg police in the 300 block of South Main Street, Sharpsburg, police said. He was taken to Allegheny County Jail, where he was awaiting arraignment, police said.

Gizler’s alleged accomplice, Zachary Zeise, 27, of Arnold, remains on the loose. Ziese is described as a white man, 5-feet-9 inches tall, with , blond hair, blue eyes, and a medium build.

Both men are charged with burglary, conspiracy and receiving stolen property in the July 22 burglary of a Woodbrook Drive residence in Fox Chapel, police said.

County police obtained arrest warrants on Thursday for the pair, who are accused of pawning several of the stolen items at different shops in Allegheny County.

When Gizler was arrested, he had a gold bar, the valuable jewelry, family heirlooms and the engraved wedding band. Additional investigation led to the recovery of three Rolex watches taken in the burglary, police said.

If anyone sees Zeise, police urge them to use caution and call 911 or the Allegheny County Police tip line at 1-833-ALL-TIPS, or 833-255-8477. Callers can remain anonymous.
