The upper stories of the Brackenridge home that caught fire Saturday night.

A late-night fire gutted the upper floors of a Brackenridge home on Saturday night.

Fire crews responded to the blaze at the corner of McIntire Way and Hall Lane near ATI’s Brackenridge Works around 11:30 p.m., according to a volunteer at Pioneer Hose Company.

Residents escaped the home, and no one was injured during the incident, the volunteer said.

About a half-dozen local fire departments worked to extinguish the fire for about an hour and a half, according to the volunteer.

The Allegheny County Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of the blaze.
