Free Thanksgiving dinners are planned in several communities in the Alle-Kiski Valley. Please note the dates and reservation deadlines.

Arnold

A free Thanksgiving meal will be served from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Nov. 25 at The Tomb, 1821 Fifth Ave.

Brackenridge

The Allegheny Valley Corps of the Salvation Army will host a free Thanksgiving meal from 1 to 3 p.m. Nov. 23 at the center, 917 Brackenridge Ave. Details: 724-224-6310.

Freeport

A free Thanksgiving dinner will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 27 in the fellowship hall at St. Mary, Mother of God Church, 608 High St. Dine in, takeout or delivery. Reservations required by Nov. 19. Reservations: 724-448-9251 or stmaryfreeport.com.

Kiski Township

New Beginnings United Methodist Church, 1559 Route 56, will host a free dinner from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday at the church. Details: 724-478-4525.

Leechburg

Cross Roads Community Presbyterian Church, 271 Main St., will host its 16th annual free Thanksgiving dinner Nov. 27 at the church. Takeout dinners will be available at noon and the sit-down dinners will be served at 1 p.m. Reservations required by Nov. 17. Donations will be accepted. Lower Burrell

• Braeburn Community Church, 4146 Arnold Ave., will serve a free Thanksgiving dinner Nov. 27 at the church. Menu: turkey, stuffing, potatoes, green bean casserole, cranberry sauce, rolls and pumpkin pie. Reservations required by Nov. 23. The building is not wheelchair accessible, but call for options. • Free takeout Thanksgiving dinners will be available from noon to 1 p.m. Nov. 27 in the rear parking lot at Bethel United Methodist Church, 150 Alder St. Sponsored by Compassion Network. Tarentum
