Lower Valley rescue crews and police responded to an accident late Friday on Freeport Road in Harmar near the Advance Auto Parts.

At least one person was reported to have been taken to a hospital.

The accident closed a section of Freeport Road where a train accident weeks ago had already restricted traffic to one lane in each direction.

The crash happened shortly before 11:30 p.m. and road reopened about 45 minutes later.

Firefighters from Allegheny Valley and Cheswick responded and well as Harmar and Allegheny Valley Police.

No further information was available Saturday.
