Harrison commissioners will tentatively target six roads in their summer paving program.

The list includes Broadview Boulevard, between Idaho and California avenues, and between Idaho and Montana; State Street, from Fairmont to Princeton; Neely Street, Summit Drive, Maple Street and 11th Avenue from Argonne to California.

The township budgeted $330,000 for paving in the 2026 budget.

Manager Amy Rockwell said the list is tentative for bidding purposes. The final scope of work will be dependent upon bid results, available funding and formal authorization.

Bid openings are expected in March. A date has not been finalized.

Last year, commissioners made the decision to alternate paving years because of budget struggles.

At the time, Rockwell said the move wasn’t ideal but an aggressive paving schedule in recent years, combined with ongoing maintenance efforts, is expected to prevent significant road impacts.

The township in 2024 spent about $400,000 on more than a dozen roads, including portions of Broadview Boulevard.
