Residents of a Harrison row house can remain in place after an electrical fire caused a stir in one of the four units.

Hilltop Hose Fire Chief Mike Krzeminski said no one was displaced or injured in connection with the incident around 6:15 p.m. Friday at 78 Pond St. in Natrona.

“The homeowner was still here when we arrived,” Krzeminski said. “He said he saw flames coming out from a wall behind his television. He threw water on these flames, and they had a smoke condition in the basement.

”It’s kind of a difficult one to find. It was kind of hidden behind the duct work. Very small, smoldering fire quickly handled with a couple extinguishers.”

All three Harrison fire companies responded as well as Pioneer Hose in Brackenridge. Utilities were shut off as part of the response.

Krzeminski said the landlord will have to get the utilities turned back on, and believes residents will not have to seek shelter elsewhere.
