Harrison man accused of sexually assaulting 2 teenage girls
An 18-year-old Harrison man is accused of sexually assaulting two teenage girls over the last two years.
The girls were 14 and 13 at the time, according to police.
Jason Richard Martin faces felony charges of aggravated incident assault and misdemeanor indecent assault in connection with the alleged incidents, which started in May 2017, court records state.
Allegheny County police found out about the alleged assaults in December after one of the girls told her sister that she had been sexually assaulted at a Harrison home during a sleepover in November, according to a criminal complaint. The girl was 14 at the time of the alleged assault.
During an interview, the girl told detectives that she learned from another girl that Martin did the same thing to her when she was 13, according to the complaint.
The second girl was later interviewed at the Child Advocacy Center at UPMC Children’s Hospital. During that interview, the girl said Martin sexually assaulted her on four separate occasions.
Martin is free on non-monetary bond awaiting a Jan. 23 preliminary hearing before Brackenridge District Judge Carolyn Bengel. Court documents didn’t list an attorney for him.
