Harrison police are looking for a man accused of punching and choking a woman.

Township police charged Peter Paul Dott IV, 27, with strangulation, simple assault and terroristic threats in the incident that allegedly happened in the Natrona area of the township on Friday.

On Monday, police Chief Mike Klein said Dott allegedly punched the woman in the head at least three times, choked her and spit on her. The woman was taken by ambulance to Allegheny Valley Hospital. The extent or severity of her injuries was not known.

Dott has an extensive criminal history dating to at least 2010, according to court records. He was arrested in 2017 and charged in a spree of burglaries in Allegheny County. He faced charges from Frazer, Indiana Township, East Deer and Harrison.

Harrison police issued an arrest warrant on the latest charges for Dott, who Klein said could be outside of Harrison.

Anyone with information on Dott’s whereabouts should contact police in that area, Klein said. Harrison police can be reached at 724-224-3355.
