Harrison residents will receive new recycling containers when the township’s new hauler, Noble Environmental, takes over recycling services in January.

The company will distribute green carts with lids to all properties beginning the week of Jan. 5. Anyone with a pickup prior to that date can use their round red and blue bins.

Noble will not collect recyclables placed in the old containers after Jan. 31.

Residents can dispose of the old bins during a special collection at the township building, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Jan. 31. Or they can be kept for storage or other purposes.

There will be no change for trash containers.
