Indiana Township incumbent Darrin Krally was able to fend off challenger Brandice Miller for the Republican nod for District 3 supervisor, according to complete but unofficial returns from the Allegheny County Elections Division.

All results were with 100% of precincts reporting May 16.

Krally earned 87 votes to Miller’s 68 votes. There were no write-in votes.

Krally, 53, is the township’s mayor.

He will go against Democratic challenger Emily S. Cook, who was the only candidate on that party’s primary ballot, for a four-year seat in November.

She received 149 votes. There were 24 write-in votes.

Incumbent Paul Jorgensen earned the Republican nod for District 1 supervisor with 54 votes.

He was the only candidate in that party’s primary. There were five write-in votes.

Jorgensen will go up against Democrat Kara Novdradac, who earned 90 votes and was the only party candidate, for a four-year seat in November.

Incumbent Albert Kaan earned the Republican nod in District 2 with 51 votes and had no challengers for a four-year seat.

He will go against Democrat Nettie Owens, who earned 98 votes with no challengers; there were 10 write-in votes that were not immediately tallied.

In District 4, Democratic incumbent Sarah Hertweck earned 191 votes and no challengers for her party’s nomination. There were four write-in votes.

Hertweck will go against Republican challenger Luke Rayman, who earned 72 votes with no other challengers and no write-in votes, for a four-year seat in November.
