Fire, police and medics responded to the scene of a rollover crash in Allegheny Township early Wednesday afternoon, according to authorities.

The crash was reported at 12:43 p.m. along Melwood Road near Pounds Turkey Farm, according to a Westmoreland County 911 supervisor.

The driver reportedly suffered an injury but did not need to be taken to the hospital for treatment, the dispatcher said.

There was no disruption in traffic while police investigated the crash because the vehicle ended up off the roadway when it flipped, he said.

The vehicle was removed, and the scene was cleared by 1:30 p.m.
