Pools across the region are celebrating a weather warm-up, as many opened this weekend for the season.

Alameda Waterpark

Cost: $10 for adults, $8 for children 3 to 12, adults 62 and older, and military members with ID; free for children 2 and younger

Leechburg Area Pool

Opening date: May 30 and 31, then June 5

Cost: Day pass costs $8 for people 5 and older; $5 for children 2-4; free for 2 and younger. After 5 p.m., fees drop to $5, $3 and free, respectively.
