Kids for Kids fundraiser at Lower Burrell school rings up thousands for Children’s Hospital

This year, the fourth and fifth grade classes raised $2,284 for UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.

Each year, students at Stewart Elementary School in Lower Burrell forgo having classroom holiday parties on the last day before Christmas break.

Instead, they bring in their own toys, collectibles and handmade items to sell to other students and faculty to raise money for a charity.

This year, the students in grades four and five raised $2,283.87 for UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.
