Cheswick officials will hold a final question and answer session Wednesday on the proposed police merger with Springdale Township.

The session will be held from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the borough building, 220 South Atlantic Ave.

Councilman Michael Girardi said council sent out a five-page letter to all residents outlining the merger details.

Previous question and answer sessions were held Saturday and Monday. Girardi said they only had seven people attend Saturday’s session and two people attend Monday’s session.

He said he’s received positive feedback from most residents.

Council plans to vote on the final approval of the merger during a special meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday.
