A fire tore through a Harmar garage Thursday night, leading a half-dozen local departments to fight the blaze.

No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is still under investigation, according to Allegheny Valley Fire Chief Jay Zangrille.

Crews from Allegheny Valley, Blawnox, Oakmont, Rural Ridge, Frazer #2 and Verona fire departments worked for several hours to quell the Wilson Avenue blaze.

In addition to the garage, a nearby SUV caught fire and was totaled. Zangrille said a neighboring structure also sustained damage.
