The Leechburg Area Drama Club is a little more than $1,600 away from having its own “Secret Garden.”

With opening night scheduled for April 6, the club has a $3,500 goal set to put on a seventh-through 12th grade production of “The Secret Garden.” According to the school’s Schoolfundr fundraising page, the money will be used for production needs like costumes, props, orchestra musicians, lighting, sound rentals and technicians.

“Your support is critical in helping to create the greatest opportunity for us to be successful,” the page said. “Fundraising is a challenging but essential component to the success and excellence of our program.”

Folks can keep up with updates and other announcements about the spring musical at the club’s Facebook page.
