Crews will be painting lines Saturday along a section of Route 28 as part of PennDOT’s highway safety initiatives.

Lane closures are scheduled between 6 a.m. and noon between Pittsburgh and Millvale as crews paint lines in both directions of Route 28, PennDOT said.

Line painting also may occur Saturday on Freeport Road/Main Street in Aspinwall and Sharpsburg.

PennDOT reminds drivers to be aware of changing traffic patterns when traveling through the area.
