The Municipal Authority of Westmoreland County will perform a system upgrade starting at 10 p.m. Wednesday, and some customers in Washington and Allegheny townships could experience low or no water pressure during that time.

Areas affected will include Pine Run Church Road, Elderberry Lane, Elm Drive, Strawberry Lane, Pine Vue Drive, Yockey Road, Landing Court, Shaner Acres Drive, Mahen Lane, Fir Drive, Morabito Lane, Grandview Lane, Sportsman Road, Route 66 from Sportsman Road to the Route 356 split, and Route 356 to Pine Run Road.

The work is expected to last eight hours.

Customers are advised to take necessary steps to store water for use during this time frame.
