A man was flown via medical helicopter to a local trauma center after falling off a roof in Freeport.

Police Officer in Charge Chris Fabec said officers and EMS were dispatched shortly after 1 p.m. for the fall from a residence along the 400 block of Mill Street.

Fabec said the man fell about 25 feet onto concrete. He was treated at the scene and taken to a nearby football field where he was transported by STAT MedEvac. His condition was unavailable.
