A 1-year-old boy who fell from a Plum window on Aug. 30 died of blunt force head trauma, according to an updated report from the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Henry Witucki’s death was an accident, the medical examiner indicated.

The boy fell from the window around 6:30 p.m. along the 100 block of Winchester Drive.

He was found unresponsive and taken to UPMC Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh, where he died Sept. 3, the examiner said.

Authorities did not specify how far the fall may have been from the window.

Neighbors told Tribune-Review news partner WPXI-TV the child came from a loving family and the parents were always outside playing with their three children.

Allegheny County Police are investigating.

Anyone with information about the incident should call the police tip line 833-255-8477 (833-ALL-TIPS). Callers can remain anonymous.
