The Building Block of Natrona food distribution for the disadvantaged took extraordinary measures to allow its distribution to take place on Saturday. Those participating at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Garfield Street in Natrona made precautions to defend against coronavirus. The organization distributed bags of produce and personal care products to patrons by having volunteers bring bags out from inside the K. of C. and placing them in boxes on the sidewalk to minimize human contact. Those receiving the free products were kept safely spaced apart in line as they waited on the sidewalks. They were lined up on both sides of Garfield Street and directed to the pick-up points as their turn arrived. Group leader Tricia Eber Ritchie brings out a box with bags to be given out as husband Jim Ritchie (orange vest) relays food from inside.
