A New Kensington woman and the man who owns the house where she lives were arrested on drug charges after agents raided the home and allegedly found cocaine, marijuana and evidence that they are dealers.

Janet Lea Glubish, 55, of the 1000 block of Edgewood Road was charged with a felony count of possession of drugs with the intent to deliver along with two counts of drug possession and a count of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Glubish was being detained in the Westmoreland County jail in lieu of a $25,000 cash bond to await a preliminary hearing Sept. 14 before District Judge Frank J. Pallone Jr., according to court records.

William Art Tamuschy Jr., 56, who owns the house that was raided, faces the same charges. He was released from custody on a $25,000 unsecured bond to await a hearing before Pallone, also Sept. 14.

Police wrote in criminal complaint charging the pair that a state and county drug task force, which includes members of the New Kensington Police Department, broke through the side door after nobody answered knocks announcing that a search warrant was being served.

Glubish was found in the kitchen and taken into custody. Three other men in the house were detained while police searched the house, but police did not indicate in the arrest paper whether they were charged.

When officers searched the home they allegedly found a bag with nearly 1.5 ounces of marijuana inside, a vial filled with 5.1 grams of cocaine and a small amount of crack cocaine, according to a criminal complaint.

Police also confiscated $580 that was marked by investigators prior to previous undercover drug buys along with $611 in the master bedroom.

Three digital scales and a box of sandwich bags also were confiscated by police, who said the items were covered in cocaine residue, according to the complaint.
