The Highlands Class of 2020 did not get to march at commencement on Friday evening, but they did get to be recognized.

The seniors rode in cars, many poking out of the top of sunroofs, some riding in the back of pickup trucks, all escorted by police and volunteer firefighters from all over the school district in a small parade route on the streets near Highlands High School in Harrison.

Although the weather during the first week of June can be dicey, the seniors and their well-wishers enjoyed a perfect evening of warm, dry weather.
