One rider was taken by ambulance to the hospital after a crash at the Westmoreland BMX track in Northmoreland Park, Allegheny Township, Tuesday night, according to Westmoreland County 911.
The crash was reported around 8:15 p.m.
A local race was scheduled at the track for Tuesday evening, according to the Westmoreland BMX website.
Further information, including the victim’s condition and identity, were not immediately available.
